Off the shelf.

Capivasertib, sold under the brand name Truqap, is an expensive cancer drug. Its monthly cost can range from $5,141 to over $22,000 for a specific dosage, according to a Medical News Today article. The combination of capivasertib with fulvestrant can also be costly, with an estimated incremental cost of $305,148 compared to fulvestrant alone. Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Monthly Cost: A study indicated a monthly cost of capivasertib at $5,141 when combined with fulvestrant.
  • Overall Cost: The cost of capivasertib plus fulvestrant can reach $488,915.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Some analyses suggest that capivasertib, when added to fulvestrant, may not be cost-effective compared to fulvestrant alone, particularly within certain cost-effectiveness thresholds.
  • Price Reduction Needed: To achieve cost-effectiveness in some scenarios, significant price reductions are needed, potentially by as much as 85%.
  • Specific Dosage Example: One source mentions a price of $22,641.14 for 64 tablets of 200mg Truqap.
  • In essence, capivasertib is a high-priced medication, and its cost-effectiveness can be a concern, particularly when compared to other treatment options.

What a great revelation above chemical "cure", costly? Enough to donate a few dollars to our politicians and Bureaucracy?

Bee sting I'd supply free

And scientists advising a swift complete cure with Bee sting

Yet I have read, that above drug slows the cancer growth rate, whatever I wonder at maybe grandkids maybe mortgaging their homes to save granny.

And think about third world women, India, Laos, Cambodia where a man may earn $5 dollars a day, and we claim to be humane?

At $5,141 a month supposing granny starts at 50 years old, gets to 80, cost about $1.8 million dollars, if no price hike, or getting cheaper if patent runs out.

But then I wonder, at what point would people start to think of ending the drug courses?

Would that be euthanasia?

How many grannies or Mums would not want to be such a burden upon the youngsters?,

There are some frightening psychological aspects here.

Whilst potentially a gift from God, Allah or Mother Nature is forsaken, doesn't make sense to me.
